Today's episode of Martha, entitled "The Kids Show", was filled with great ideas. If it hasn't yet aired in your area be sure to catch it. If you missed it, check out the website and watch for a re-run.
The show featured old clips of young guests and then featured those same guests today, many years later. Features on the show included homemade baby food, orange pancakes (enhanced with orange zest and ricotta cheese), slime, and a junior Marc Morrone.
During a commercial break, we tried our hand at one of the features, Martha's play dough. It was quick to mix up, and made a consistent, easy-to-work-with dough.
My favorite feature of today's episode was the kids art tote bag. I can't wait to make these with my kids. The site includes some other ideas for using kids art, some of which would make sweet and sentimental Father's Day gifts.
For those of us who really miss Martha's Kids publication, this show was an hour of fun.
